After successfully completing the Combine Stage l Audit for Integrated Management System as per IS/ISO 9001:2015, IS/ISO 14001: 2015 & 45001:2018 at Palya Footwear Private Limited, Bahadurgarh Unit. The Combine Stage I Audit for Integrated Management System Certification (QMS, EMS & OHSMS) was conducted in its another unit located at Vapi, Gujarat conducted on for two man-days, following submission of the application on the Manak Online Portal of BIS.
The primary objective of Stage 1 Audit is to examine the status of implementation of the Quality Management System, Environmental Management System & Occupational Health & Safety Management System within the organization, documented information & readiness for Stage 2 audit. The audit starts with an opening meeting in which the auditor team and the director, the management reviewer & all heads of the department are present.
The auditor team carried out the verification of all the departments as per the provided layout of the company. During the plant visit, the auditors examined the actual flow of all the processes against the documented process. IMS Manual, Policies, Procedures and Processes, Legal & Regulatory Compliance, Risk & Opportunity Management, Monitoring, Measurement & Control Records, Training & Competence Records, and Previous Audit & Corrective Action Records were also examined on both days.
Overall, Stage I Audit indicates that the company is aligning with the requirements of IS/ISO 9001:2015, IS/ISO 14001:2015 and IS/ISO 45001:2018 and is in a strong position for the upcoming Stage II Audit.
