Accordingly, Palya Footwear Private Limited intends to apply for Quality Management System (IS/ISO 9001:2015), an Environmental Management System (IS/ISO 14001:2015) and an Occupational Health & Safety Management System (IS/ISO 45001:2018) into an Integrated Management System (IMS) under the Management System Certification Scheme of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
A Stage-I Audit for Integrated Management System Certification (QMS, EMS & OHSMS) was conducted at Palya Footwear Private Limited on 30–31 January 2025 for two man-days, following submission of the application on the Manak Online Portal of BIS.
The main agenda of Stage 1 Audit is to examine the status implementation of the Quality Management System, Environmental Management System & Occupational Health & Safety Management System within the organization, documented information & readiness for Stage 2 audit.
During the Stage I Audit, the auditors visited each department of the company covered in the scope of certifications. IMS Manual, Policies, Procedures and Processes, Legal & Regulatory Compliance, Risk & Opportunity Management, Monitoring, Measurement & Control Records, Training & Competence Records, and Previous Audit & Corrective Action Records were also examined on both the days.
Overall, Stage I Audit indicates that the company is aligning with the requirements of IS/ISO 9001:2015, IS/ISO 14001:2015 and IS/ISO 45001:2018 effectively the Stage I Audit indicates that the company is effectively aligning with the requirements of IS/ISO 9001:2015, IS/ISO 14001:2015, and IS/ISO 45001:2018, and is & in a strong position for the upcoming Stage II Audit.
