KMA Global marks another milestone in arranging the Preliminary inspection for the repackaging unit of PTTGC, Thailand – named as WHA GC Logistics Company Limited (WGCL). The visit was conducted in the similar dates of 11 - 13 June 2025 as WGCL is an extended arm to GC 11 for repackaging purposes. It serves as the repackaging unit for GC 11 as the polyethylene manufactured in GC 11 is transferred via pipeline to WGCL and all the repackaging operations are held in that specific unit.
An internal inspection was done by the BIS officer to verify the compliance with IS 7328: 2020 for the product of Polyethylene. The officer began by checking the entire process flow chart of WGCL which was cross referenced with the manufacturing machinery list provided prior to the audit.
Each step starting from the receiving of PE at WGCL from GC 11 to final packaging and their storage areas were examined and verified by the BIS officer.
A detailed operational briefing was also provided the team of WGCL. The team outlined all the processes and quality assurance measures to BIS officer and explained in detail each step of the entire unit.
All the documents which were arranged by KMA Global to facilitate in smooth inspection were then assessed and checked by the officer and were found compliant with the technical specifications and standards laid down by BIS.
The inspection confirmed that WGCL is fully integrated and compliant with the IS 7328: 2020 and the testing personnels were qualified enough to furnish test reports adhering to the testing parameters of IS 7328: 2020. The audit demonstrated both KMA’s ability to fetch audits smoothly and GC’s commitment to meet the BIS standards.
