KMA Global Training and Certification Services LLP, successfully conducted a Pre-Audit Assessment at Shriram Ready Mix Concrete Pvt. Ltd. to evaluate and to improve the way of company is prepared for the forthcoming Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Licence Renewal Audit under IS/ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management Systems (QMS) and IS 4926:2003 - Ready-Mixed Concrete as the Code of Practice. The purpose of this pre-audit assessment was to evaluate system implementation, review documentation, and ensure compliance with applicable Indian Standards and also with BIS conformity assessment procedures.
The session was led by Mr. Ajay Kumar Bhatnagar, CMD of KMA Global, who described the audit plan, scope, and objectives in accordance with BIS guidelines. The evaluation was carried out to assess the readiness of organization for the main BIS surveillance and renewal of audit, ensures that all the elements are effectively implemented and maintained of quality management system.
All relevant departments such as Production, Quality Control, Stores, HR & Training, Maintenance, Purchase, Dispatch, Sales & Marketing, and Management Representative (MR) functions were thoroughly verified during the pre-assessment. The observations noted during the visit were formally communicated to the respective Heads of Departments (HODs) and the Management Representative (MR) for review, implementation, and continual improvement as per BIS requirements.
KMA Global team appreciated the organization for systematic control of production, effective calibration of testing equipment, management of maintenance, and sincerity of adhering to the Scheme of Inspection and Testing (SIT) that is mandatory by BIS. The focus was also placed on to improving the personnel competence and for enhancing the methods of consumer feedback. documentations of process parameters are proper and are aligned with the latest BIS & ISO standards as with the Quality Management System.
